This Week in Manufacturing

Building a long-term customer relationship is no easy feat–but this week’s feature company has made it their mission to focus not only on long-term projects, but long-term clients. Let’s dive in!

Our feature company is V&G Dynamic out of Marble Falls, Texas. Standing out against other folding small businesses, V&G has maintained a reliance on well-trained employees and deep client bonds. Salespeople emphasize personal contact and communication is equally important within V&G’s existing partnerships.

This week’s headlines also highlight adherence to strong capabilities and innovation from the solar supply chain, CHIPS manufacturing expansion, the dawning of a robotics age, and more!

Our first podcast this week, The Manufacturing Executive, covers one of V&G’s favorite topics: training the workforce. The second podcast, Advanced Manufacturing Now, showcases future trends in manufacturing and workforce development.

Finally, this week’s Social Video details prototypes like V&G is known for while our Fun Fact highlights recent advances in the field of adaptive machining.

♨️ V&G Dynamic

V&G Dynamic Machine was started by a German-American master craftsman and his wife in a storage unit as a two-person machine shop in 1988.

The original owner shared his knowledge as he trained his new employees and grew the business over the years. In 2020, the current owner and general manager, Adam Mansuri, took the reins. He then began to steadily modernize and improve quality to expand the company's customer base and capabilities.

The company serves a good mix of industries, including aerospace, defense, semiconductor, energy, firearms, electronics, and scientific instruments, with the vast majority of their work being longer-run production jobs, rather than prototype-oriented.

Upshot: “I want to emphasize our willingness to grow with our customers. Just email us, and we’ll help.”
